Athanasios Diakos (Upper Moussounitsa) in Fokida region, central Greece, is village built at 1150m altitude. It is one of the most famous villages of Fokida. Located just 2.5 hours from Athens in an area of extraordinary beauty, with lush forests of fir trees and among the mountains Giona, Vardoussia and Iti. It was named after the famous hero of the revolution of 1821, due to the fact that this was his birthplace.
